“SAVE does not disqualify any voter; instead, it merely notifies the States whether the federal government can confirm citizenship.
“[The district court entered an] indefensible order that threatens the integrity of upcoming elections by vacating the federal government's authority [to provide citizenship verification to the States].
“[Although] the States have primary authority to regulate the manner of elections, they cannot choose to use the federal mails to carry out their elections but then insist that their election-related mail is somehow exempt.
“The Postal Service's final rule imposes only modest envelope-design and addressee-information requirements for federal-election ballots sent via U.S. Mail.
“The district court's order partially nullifies the Postal Service's efforts to address the risk that the federal mails will be used to perpetrate voter fraud.
“Every day the President does not have access to the vital security features of the military complex presents unacceptable risk, no matter how long the Project takes to complete. When the President, his staff, his family, and the White House complex are not fully secure, time is of the essence.
“If allowed to go into effect, the injunction would wrongfully install a single district judge as sole arbiter of what further construction is 'strictly necessary' to protect the safety of the President, his family, staff members, and visitors to the White House, including foreign dignitaries, and presidents and prime ministers of other countries.
“The President of the United States of America is not a tenant, but rather the sole, elected head of the Executive Branch, and Congress has authorized him to renovate, secure, and protect the White House and its grounds, as other Presidents have been allowed to do, without exception.
“We're in a new world now where 8 billion people are one plane ride away from having a child who's a U.S. citizen.
