“What we do know is who these families are. They have dignity. They work really hard. They’ve started businesses, filled manufacturing job shortages, and many of them are home health workers taking care of our families. The violence in Haiti has been terrifying for years, and it’s only gotten worse. Sending them back would be inhumane.
