“As the head of a large Department with broad responsibilities, I did not lead every aspect of this effort or conduct that document review myself. I delegated oversight over this process to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
“There were redaction errors. But since day one of this process, this Department has been committed to accountability and transparency.
“More than 500 attorneys and reviewers spent thousands of hours painstakingly reviewing millions of pages... we released more than 3 million pages, including 180,000 images, all to the public while doing our very best in the time frame allotted by the legislation to protect victims.
