“The president seems to have a real problem with the Constitution, whether it is the freedom of the press, whether it is voting rights, whether it is state rights. … The Founding Fathers of this country found it to be so important that they made things like the freedom of the press and free speech and freedom of assembly part of the First Amendment. The first thing they wanted to get done. … The president continues to use the Constitution like it is a suggestion box, simply because he does not like the coverage. … I would just hope that this administration would spend a little bit of time reading instead of just talking.

“You attack and insult Black women because you believe peddling racism is good for your clicks and your business model. This is someone who is an advisor of Donald Trump and who should be condemned by all.
“If you are going to attack brilliant, bold, beautiful Black women, know this: they are way out of your league. Respectfully, I suggest you sit this one out.
“At a moment when states across the country are manipulating congressional maps to silence voters and undermine fair representation, Maryland cannot afford to sit on our hands.
“President Trump tried to take from Maryland what Maryland had already won. He failed. From the beginning, we said the decision to move the FBI headquarters to Greenbelt was final, earned, and that the Trump Administration’s attempt to overturn it was illegal and wrong for our national security. Today, the court agreed.
“Now it is time to stop the games and get to work building the world-class FBI headquarters that our public servants deserve, where it belongs: in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
