“The President’s objective is to cause chaos in the hope that voters will give up and simply not participate. I’m grateful to the court for blocking yet another attempt to upend our elections.
“DHS representatives informed our office that the numbers they provided are preliminary. The Secretary of State's Office will not risk disenfranchising eligible voters.
“They are not sophisticated in their efforts to determine who is eligible to vote and who's not, and that's dangerous.
“The fact that they are so flippant about a fundamental constitutional right is unsettling.
