“He’s pushed out journalists. He’s pushed out media. This is part of his effort to create fear and to clamp down on information.
“Munitions have been depleted. The stockpiles are very low, contrary to what Donald Trump wants us to believe.
“18 Americans dead. Hundreds more wounded. That's not "small potatoes", Mr. President. As elites talk tough and bang the war drums from their gold-plated offices, it's working class folks who have to pick up a rifle, jump in a tank, and do the fighting.
“Pentagon right now is, in some cases, rudderless.
“It's unfortunate that somebody like that can't last in this administration.
“Who could possibly be surprised that Donald Trump thinks that he’s more befitting an honor like this than a World War II and American war hero? Doris Miller, this is a man. Donald Trump is a five-time draft dodger. He’s called veterans suckers and losers. He refused to go to an American military cemetery in Europe because it was raining. I really hope this is not true. My hopes are repeatedly dashed under the Trump administration, so it probably is. And we’ll fight it like we do many of the other egregious things they do.
