“Unfortunately, our experience of negotiating with the Americans has always been accompanied by failure and breaches of commitments. Two of the measures mutually agreed upon have yet to be implemented: a ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of Iran's blocked assets. In the upcoming negotiations, if the American side is ready for a genuine agreement and to grant the rights of the Iranian nation, they will see readiness for agreement from us as well.

“A cease-fire and negotiations with the United States on ending this war is unreasonable when the United States has already violated three of Iran's ten conditions. Lebanon is included in the ceasefire agreement we reached, but Israel has continued strikes on Lebanon. The framework explicitly preserves Iran's right to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes — a right Trump has now denied. And an intruding drone entered Iranian airspace and was destroyed in the city of Lar in Fars Province. We will not be bound by an agreement the other side refuses to honor.
