Iran has provided a 10-point peace proposal that we believe is a workable basis on which to negotiate. There will be a COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz. We have agreed to a two-week pause on all attacks. Talks will begin in Islamabad on Friday under the mediation of Prime Minister Sharif of Pakistan.
