Happy Independence Day! Celebrating 250 Years!

Today our nation celebrates an incredible milestone: 250 years of American independence. This Independence Day, we come together to celebrate a pivotal moment in history when the future of our nation—and the world—was changed forever. This day in 1776, our Founding Fathers declared that all men are created equal, and that government derived its power from the consent of the governed. They set forth a declaration that We The People bestow authority upon the government to ensure that it serves the will of the people and preserves the liberties for which so many have fought and sacrificed. Tostrud has served on Minnesota’s federal bench since 2018 after being nominated by President Donald Trump during his first term and clearing the Senate by a unanimous vote. A St. Paul native, Tostrud graduated from the William Mitchell College of Law and went on to clerk for former Judge Edward J. Devitt an

40/29 News On The Record: Sen. John Boozman on Farm Bill

ROGERS, Ark.—During the congressional recess, U.S. Senator John Boozman of Arkansas sat down with 40/29 News. He talked about a number of issues including new legislation dubbed the Farm Bill 2.0. “With the original farm bill a year ago in the big beautiful building, we were able to increase farm investment over the next five years by $68 billion which is a massive amount of money, the most ever in a farm bill, and the reason we were able to do that was because agriculture is such that if you're growing something in the ground right now, you're losing money," Boozman said. "If we're not carefu
