Frankly, this was not the way I would have wanted to end my career in politics, but I'm proud of my accomplishments from protecting the environment and cleaning up toxic waste to jumpstarting research that will cure previously deadly diseases to fighting for reproductive rights.

I want to congratulate Melat Kiros for her victory last night, and I want to wish her all the best in her future.

Coloradoans have once again made their voices clear. We are not going to accept Trump's broken promises and cost of living emergency, or his constant corruption.

Denver voters of all ages, of all races and all religions sent a clear message: we will not wait. We will not wait to take the fight to Donald Trump. We will not wait to abolish ICE and pass Medicare for all. We will not wait to end the genocide.

I would call it one more day in the worst presidency in American history. He's turned the work of the Justice Department to basically fund his allies and lawbreakers on Jan. 6 that attacked the Capitol of the United States, that attacked Capitol police officers in full view of the American people.

Donald Trump's absurd $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS is one of the most brazen examples of corruption we've seen from this administration. House Democrats are taking a stand for the American taxpayers that would be forced to foot the bill for this mess, and are calling on the court to block any unconstitutional settlements in the matter.

Prices have likely peaked and they'll start going down. Certainly with a resolution of this conflict, prices across the board on energy prices will go down.

“

I'm a NO on FISA as it stands. I'm a NO on the rule for FISA to boot. Swamp isn't happy but that's where I'm at. Pass the SAVE America Act and I MIGHT feel differently.

“

I support expelling both of these members. Actions have consequences. Both parties need to clean house — literally.
