We're past 60 days so it's got to be brought to us to vote on. We're following the law.

It's our job in the Congress, in the Senate and the House to hold the executive branch accountable. We'll see how many actually join us in the effort by putting pen to paper. We have such a gap right now in trust with the public and the institutions.

A massive discretionary fund, with no oversight or approval from Congress, represents a dangerous backsliding in the transparency of our institutions and our commitment to the American taxpayer.

Something like this is much more important than just voting what your base might demand. Because I think things are much bigger and more important than that. And Iran with a nuclear bomb is one of those things. Why don't we want to just make sure Iran just can't build a nuclear bomb? That's what it's really about, right? It's not an extreme view.

This downgrade is a direct warning: our fiscal outlook is deteriorating, and House Republicans are determined to make it worse. On top of Trump's reckless tariffs and years of Republican debt ceiling brinkmanship, now they want to add trillions to the deficit — all to hand out even more tax breaks to billionaires and the biggest corporations.

A message to our Ukrainian friends: Help is on the way.

Pam Bondi is once again defying a legally binding subpoena. She is required to follow the law, just like any other person. I previously moved to hold her in contempt; there's no reason we cannot try again. Bondi must be held accountable for her handling of the Epstein files, for weaponizing the Department of Justice, and for evading the law.

Let's make this simple: caving to Democrats and not paying CBP and ICE is agreeing to defund Law Enforcement and leaving our borders wide open again. If that's the vote, I'm a NO.
